Don't worry about the comments, as you can see, most of them are motivated by jealousy. Granted, you don't really have jack shit on the guy whose wife didn't eat lunch with him before his near-death surgery or the girl whose sister uses her toothbrush to **********, but it's your 17th birthday, you wanted something, you didn't get it, and I assume your parents are well-off because you already have a car so it's not like you're stretching the family budget or something by asking. Either way, be glad your life doesn't suck as much as the other people on this site and don't let jealous people who think not having a car is a legitimate sign of poverty get you down.
If you're 17, you're old enough to have a job and pay for your own car. Appreciate the gift and stop being a whiny little spoiled baby.
Seriously? I did get a car when I was 16, and it was by no means a bad car. I still think this is ridiculous. Under no circumstances should no one feel like they have been done an injustice because they DIDN'T get a car. He should be thankful that he was born into a family well-off enough to buy him a car in the first place, just like I am, not bitching about the car he got.
sept 16th is my birthday 2!
That's happened to me before, though not in such a greedy, selfish kind of way. My best friend completely forgot my birthday, then bought me earrings to make up for it. At the time, I hadn't had pierced ears.
oh boo hoo mommy and daddy wouldn't buy your spolied ass a new car. You already have a ******* car and your only 17. I wish I had a car when I was 17 hell i'm 26 and still doesn't have a ******* car
If you don't want the book then give it to me! I love photography! And if your car can take you places and it's not damaged beyond repair then you don't need a new one.
Wow, you are spoiled beyond belief. Cry me a river.

Wahhhhhh. So let me guess, your parents have already bought you a car last year and you want another one? Do you really think money grows on trees? Buy your own car, mooch.
You sound spoilt. You're 17 and own a car, you should be happy enough.
