Today, it's my birthday. My boyfriend told me he was too busy studying for finals, but that he'd take me out another day instead. He later drunk-dialled me from a party demanding a lift back home. FML

I know he's your boyfriend and you (probably) love him, but I sincerely hope you didn't give him the ride. That would only encourage his poor choices. He not only blatantly lied to you to get out of spending time with you on your birthday, he also had the nerve to go get drunk, which he should have known would probably end the way it did. Meaning he was an asshole and was stupid enough not to think about his choices and the potential hazards and consequences of his negative behaviour. If you picked him up, that shows him he can get away with it, and therefore reinforces the BSing. Don't give him that false hope. If it happens again, tell him its his ******* fault for getting drunk and that for lying to you he gets to walk home or mooch a ride off somebody who isn't pissed at him. Then hang up and move on.

woow I hope you picked him up and dropped him off in a ditch somewhere and when he asks you about it the next morning be like "I thought you were studying? how could I have picked you up and abandoned you from a party you didn't go to?" JERK
