Today, it's Saturday night, and also Halloween. Instead of going out, I'm sitting at home on MSN telling everyone who asks me what I'm doing tonight that I'm 'going out in 10 minutes to a party', then when 10 minutes pass, I block them. FML

I find it hilarious that you feel the need to make people think you're out partying.

ever think that if they are asking your plans, they might ask you to go somewhere with them if you were free?

my birthdays on halloween i didnt even try to lie that i was doing something

We generally don't celebrate Halloween here in Australia

I did something similar a while ago. I got some good advice - next time, if you want to do something, you could say, "Nothing, want to do something?" or something along the lines of that. The person I talked to said it was usually an invitation to do something if they asked what you were up to.

Why not just say you have no plans? Maybe they'd ask if you want to do something
