Today, it was my court date for a car accident I was involved in back in July. I had spent months preparing a case to prove my innocence. I was scheduled to appear at 10:00 this morning. I woke up at 10:15AM. FML

At least the "months" you spent totaled no more than *two* months.

YDI for not setting your alarm, or for sleeping through it.

generally, they have everyone from a certain point in time to another point in time come in on the same day for tickets... you probably could have made it before they called your name, instead of whining about it on here. ydi

yeah, YDI for not making sure you woke up on time.

why would you spend that long preparing? because unless you have fool-proof evidence (which no offense, but almost no one ever does) or a witness, the other person can say "thats not true" and your "innocence" means nothing. but thats just my thoughts.. anyways, total YDI. you spent that long preparing and didn't wake up on time? come on, you fail.

i have an alarm clock that sets itself, and even if the electricity goes out it still makes a loud, annoying sound on schedule. technology is awesome.

You should use more than one alarm clock, because I always turn off mine and then go back to sleep. DX

Man, I know this feeling. I have about four cell phones right next to me, all set with alarms, when I go to bed. That way, I have to really get up, because the alarms will go off at different times and keep me up.
