wheels tells us more.
im not blonde... the door locked from the inside and the keys were on a key ring that was already in my car's ignition (i have a really old car and when i start it up and just go, it shakes).. after standing there a minute like "o damn" i slowly pulled my hair out and it hurt pretty bad and there was still quite a bit stuck in the door.. it sucked

I've had a similar experience happen to me op, so I know how you feel. Hopefully you didn't have to resort to cutting too much of your hair off to get freed.
Where was your phone?
I live in a flat, and our door shuts right when you close it, plus it doesn't have a knob on the outside. You can only open it with keys, or close it with them.

Just imagining this scenario is making me crack up. What an awkward situation. ;O
I have to start the car and leave it running for a few minutes to defrost the windows on cold mornings. I think that's a valid reason.
