My MIL did the same thing to me. She also insisted I name the baby after her, even though we found out he was a boy. I gave the clothes to a friend who was having a girl, and told her to shove it. I suggest you do the same unless you want her to know you don't have a backbone. She'll constantly walk all over you then. Jmo
Unless they actually say "boy" on them somewhere, why not use the clothes? You can always put a little pink velcro bow in her hair if you want to make sure people know she's a girl. Something like a dinosaur onesie and a flower headband would be pretty cute! Everyone will think you're so modern. :)
well it's not your fault. it's hers for assuming. plus she cAn always just refund the stuff. good luck btw
Dress her up in them anyway, if it doesn't say something silly like "Mommy's little boy". Blue and pink don't have genders, and I've seen people of both genders wear both. Why not teach from an early age that a person shouldn't limit their tastes to conform? When my sisters and I were younger, we played with dinosaurs, marbles and cars as well as the usual toys for our gender. We had more fun than other little girls who were restricted in their play.
If she wanted to buy all of that stuff, she shouldve bought neutral colors, like a normal person.
Tell her that's what her stupid ass gets for buying boy clothes before knowing the gender. Why should you have to pay for her stupidity??

She should be glad there is a baby at all! You can't control the sex, I hope it's healthy! Good luck!
Tell her "Sure, we'll take it out of your nursing home fund".
