There can't be sanity in piercing your body!
Double fault! Self-mutilation AND not knowing children are curious. Good luck with that "rest of your life" thing; I think you'll need it.
Sounds like you already had a gaping hole in your face.
Facial piercing are so stupid! Ever notice how some plastic packaging is real hard to tear unless you poke a hole in it and then it tears like a hot knife thru butter. Well that's your face with any kind of trauma (falling on your face, getting hit with a ball, getting punched, or it getting hooked on anything). Good luck with the large zipper scar. Besides who wants to kiss a metal object?
you dumb?
that's what you get for being a mother irresponsible enough to wear a lip ring
Well, in a way, it is irresponsible. The baby can grab onto the piercing and rip it clean out of the skin, and if the piercing falls out the baby could swallow and choke on it if the baby picks up the jewelry. If you already have piercings and you then later have a baby, take the piercings out or replace everything with very small studs until the kid is a bit older. If you have a baby and you want to get piercings, WAIT.
I have 2 lip rings, 2 nose rings and Im a teriffic mother, if you didnt want that to happen you should have put a stud in. babies like to pull things that are shiny. so you deserve it for not having common sense but to all those saying oh well you shouldnt have piercings if your a mother **** off. piercings do not dictate your parenting skills at all.
I totally agree, people can be stupid and theres no reasons why a mother should give up piercings. Though a stud wouldnt exactly prevent it, but it would have been much better than a ring. I was holding my then 3 month old son while he slept. He woke up and suddely gave my labret stud a painful jerk, but it was too difficult for his tiny fingers to hold on to for long. Shit happens.
Wow...look how many of you are judgemental and ridiculous....Having a lip ring is not a big deal, and just cause your a mother doesnt mean you shouldnt have a lip ring or that you have sacrificed your DIGNITY.. come on people get f*cking real. Its a piercing! I do however think that super judgemental and ignorant people make bad parents so where the hell is yoru dignity!
Awww. Isnt' that sweet?
