Severe acne can spread to ANY part of the body, despite what people above may think. Common cause is a bacterial infection in your skin, which feeds off the sugars from bad foods ib your diet. Try changing what you eat, and mame sure you wash properly. This wont work overnight but it will help for sure.

Washing skin with too much pressure can actually lead to it being inflamed and irritated. Especially more delicate areas.

Op should also ask his doctor about some medication to help with his acne. Often an antibiotic can be all it takes to help clear it up. If an antibiotic doesn't help, there are many other type of meds that can help.

it could also be a problem with the soap you are using. If you can find some goat's milk soap with the perfume and crap. Otherwise dr bronner soaps are pretty good.
