Today, my assistant manager was arguing with a customer. I interjected letting the customer know that "we want everything to be copacetic." After the customer left, I received a write up for using "big words." FML

People, people, people.. He meant copastetic. Give the guy a break. So critical.

Ydi, wonder how many sales you get in a month. You do wasn't the customer to understand you right? A web designer can't sell himself to clients by using jargans so what makes you think you can resolve an issue by making an idiot out of the customer?

@113 It means "what an ace" in polish, and it's just a joke from a popular video. No need to get your panties in a bunch over it :/

God, OP. Go back to the 80s. "Copacetic" hasn't been in vogue since California surfer movies.

They shouldn't have given you a write up, just reminded you, but customer service is about communication. You should make yourself clearly understood by using everyday language.

today I got a Saturday detention because someone left an empty cup on my lunch table at school after I had cleaned it and left. life is full of imbeciles in high places, with clipboards, and terrible reasons to punish normal people to make them feel better about themselves. that's how it works. you get punished for inteligence too.

i got a write up for a improper grammar over something as simple as saying miss instead of mrs. don't remember exactly. but it was ok for other people to speak what they want to call Ebonics but really it's just slang and not remotely proper English. ie.. I be, why come etc etc etc. FYI. I'm not racist. but makes me mad ebonics is ok but I can't make a simple mistake

Punishment for the educated. So it begins...
