Look at the bright side - it means more for you! You did your good deed, not your fault the jerks wouldn't eat them. So you can have them!

If you want to do something nice, how about do something that really matters? Volunteer at a fire department, animal shelter, soup kitchen, etc. That same amount of time is spent helping to save lives and better the world, instead of giving cookies to a bunch of people who can't chew them, have heart conditions, diabetes, and other illnesses that keep them from eating the cookies.

I volunteer at a nursing home and just as 54 said, you can only give food to someone who is a relative. I used to buy diet coke for my grandfather when I went there :) and it's not like they can't have sweets. The nursing home I go to has an ice cream parlor and anyone who wants some can have some if they go there!
