why Is this even up? so what they didn't want your cookies. it'll be ok I promise op, I'm sure they laughed when you left too.
i work in a nursing home and we arent allowed to accept outside food for the residents. If you have a family member there, then yes you can bring them food. If you are a random person we have to turn the food away. Food Safety issues.
Aha, confirmation :) But here's the big question: is the staff allowed to risk it and take "suspicious" baked goods home? Y'know, provided they want to risk the whole sneaky cyanide-laced angel-of-mercy thing.
well, take them back and reward yourself with your own cookies, big whoop
you should grand theft auto them bitches for not being grateful.
Old people usually can't eat cookies. They have a ton of sugar, and their false teeth probably can't handle them. Make banana mush next time =O
Older people are picky about homemade things. They can't afford to get sick or have food poisoning. Store bought cookies have the ingredients and nutrition facts on it. Next time just go to the store and buy some. This way they'll know what's in it. Nice effort but next time think ahead. I'm surprised the nursing home let outside food come in. They should know better. That's a law sue waiting to happen if anyone got ill.

I'll eat them. I lov cookies
I volunteer at a nursing home and just as 54 said, you can only give food to someone who is a relative. I used to buy diet coke for my grandfather when I went there :) and it's not like they can't have sweets. The nursing home I go to has an ice cream parlor and anyone who wants some can have some if they go there!
