You mean ex-best friend right?
Hey guys :) OP here- so I just wanted to clear up a couple of things because there seems to be a little confusion. I'm actually 16 years old, so it wasn't a proper profession- it's packaging for a small company, my boss leaves me stuff by the door for me to pack and pays me by the batch. My best friend has always wanted a job but is too lazy to find one of her own so she asked me for my bosses number and claimed she was just going to ask if the company is looking for anyone else. The job doesn't require much talent (it's literally taking things and putting them in bags) so my boss didn't have much trouble letting me go- her 'reason' was that she couldn't afford me. I'm still friends with my best friend though, just not gonna be talking to her for a while. Thanks for all the support guys :)
Its still ****** up. Hang in there.
Uh. .ex best friend I hope you mean especially if your boss is contemplating it..
"Friend" I would just stop talking to him that's beyond shady
Do you still class her as a friend?
BFFs share everything I guess
Looks like you lose a good friend there.
Sounds like an asshole.

Your best friend sounds like half a man.
A jobs not worth doing if its not done right. I think your friend wont get it, due to your boss wanting quality not low pay
