Today, my boss yelled at me for ruining the report she was supposed to write with my "terrible spelling and grammar". I've checked it thoroughly, and all of her 'corrections' are wrong. She doesn’t believe me, and is refusing to look at a dictionary. FML

How do people like that become bosses? It seems like the people with kindergarten educations get the best jobs and everyone else has to go to university for multiple years just to start of at the bottom of the food chain in their job.

Let her turn it in her way. Keep your name off it, and let her learn her lesson. Stupid is as stupid does.

It's possible that this actually has nothing to do with you, and maybe something just crawled up her ass and died. What a C-word.

Well no point in arguing with the boss. Let him or her turn it in the way it is, you've already done your part.

You should e-mail her a 'Word of the Day' everyday and use one of the words she won't correct, for every day.

Lolz. That is just an epic fail

Maybe OP's boss is american, and has recently came to US and thus she thought that OP's british english is wrong? Just a thought...

You do realize that doesn't make sense, right?

Makes lots of sense. There are many different terms and spellings between American and British English. Think before you make a stupid comment.

Yes, I know there are different terms/spellings between the two. That's not what I was referring to but thanks anyway.

ALSO there is no such thing as British or American English; English is a language, however there are different pronunciations and spelling.

That makes alot of sense, the people who thumbed me down were just too stupid to get that.

ZZ you are aware that you said "Maybe OP's boss Is an American who's just come to the U.S" right? You're the idiot.

Oh, i put us instead uk. Anyway thats called a mistake, humans do that.

Actually ZZ, it's called two mistakes - alot is not a word. Try 'a lot'. ZZ - are you the asshole boss OP is referring to?

I think she just wanted an excuse to use her new red pen.
