I think he could have said it in a better way but i dont think what he said was so bad. If he said something like "I think you would look great in a short skirt/dress/outfit like that" you might have seen it different. My gf used to be a 'slightly larger' girl and was always self consious that she wouldnt wear anything but long pants. She'd been going to the gym and now has a great body but was still self consious. We seen a girl with a similar build to her wearing a short skirt and i told her that i think she'd look amazing in a skirt like that. She hesitated at first but then she brought one and hasnt looked back since as it makes her feel good about herself. <<just an example, If it was something really slutty it might just be a fantasy of his that you can do just in the bedroom.

"in bed" I can understand that as long as it stays in the bedroom, but he didn't ask her to dress like that in bed. He said he wished she would dress like a hooker, and I don't know about you but I don't even want my significant other to dress like a hooker in bed.
