Today, my boyfriend and I were talking about what we want to be when we grow up. He said he wanted to be a bartender, and single. FML

Lucky for you, guys never really grow up.

I'd be such an alcoholic if I dated a bartender.

Let's say that was his dream before he met you...you didn't say what time frame...

You both must be young ones. Just know that there are many other boys/men that probably will be interested in you, so don't worry too much.

How old are yous? And who aspires to be just a bartender lol

i don't knows hows olds theys ares but being a bartender is a honest day job and pays better then some of the other options. so Yah why not aspire to be a bartender. everyone has different dreams. BTW you added "s" next to you

Well your still teens so your relationship will likely fail anyway

Still a but of a bummer to know that your partner actually WANTS it to fail

I'm looking to be a bartender too. the single part though, not so much

If I was dating a girl and she said she only had aspirations to be a bartender, that would be the end of that relationship. I've seen 60 year old bartenders, that shouldn't be something people aspire to.

Hanging around a bar all the time tends to lend itself to alcoholism, also most people who work in bars tend to be on an evening schedule which prematurely ages people physically.

If his main aspirations in life are to be a single bartender, you could definitely find someone better OP.

sounds like a hint hope you're not too invested
