Don't sweat it OP. The love of my life married a girl I introduced him to as a friend. But don't despair, when she posts on Facebook their anniversary and how happy she is that they met, she gives someone else credit for introducing them. As if there was no way I could remotely ever be responsible for his happiness, I can't even be given be credit for introducing them, as if I didn't exist. Seriously, FML.

Geez, you people are so quick to jump to conclusions. Just because the guy decided to move on doesn't make him a complete asshole. He has every right to be with whomever he's most attracted to. There's no need to be pretentious about it.

Nobody cares if he moves on or not. They care about the reason he told her. It's a difference if you break up by saying "Sorry this isn't working anymore and I already found a new girlfriend." or to tell her "Oh hey, it's over. Found a prettier version of you. Bye. LOL.".
