Today, my boyfriend decided that lunch with his guys was more important than spending time with me. This is the second year in a row that he has cancelled on me. How do I remember the date so well? It's my birthday. FML

Second year in a row? And you're still with him? I mean, if he hasn't gotten it by now...

time to go postal on his ass. bitch-up woman !

you prob suck so he doesn't want to hang out with you

yeah, did she even tell him it was her birthday? or just expect him to become psychic randomly?

yet you probably won't do anything about it and he'll do it a third time. take control or continue to be trampled on. YDI.

Why do people immedietly say 'dump him/her' when a boy/girlfriend does something bad? Sure, some FMLs in that sense seem dump-worthy, but this isn't dump-worthy. If I had a girlfriend, I wouldn't expect her to make no other plans and spend the entire day with me. A happy birthday text or something would do fine for me.

I dated a chick that would FREAK OUT if the birthday parties I threw her didn't make her feel like the princess she wished she was. Suffice to say, I now personally think ALL birthday's are pointless. It's a very inaccurate measure of the relative position of the planet about its orbit of the sun. All that said, my gf and I go out in honor of her birthday, so far we've yet to actually go on her birthday itself, but the point is to spend quality time with people that matter to you. The specific date is inmaterial. Now if you guys NEVER do anything together, that's probably a problem worth working out. But otherwise, ask yourself if you're maybe overreacting? Granted, it is cool that the planet keeps orbiting the sun.
