Tsk tsk, texting at work.
But, just think of the money he saved! Without expensive gifts and anniversary dinner, he probably saved more than he would by switching to GEICO. Maybe he finally decided he deserved someone better.
But what the boyfriend DOESN'T know is OP switched to Progressive, so she saved enough money for them to go to Vegas. His loss, ultimately.
hello, and welcome to the singles club... plenty more out there :)
In he's defense he probably didn't know it was your anniversary
In no way is that defense. He dumped her the day before, and if he were to say something like, "Oh, I didn't remember tomorrow was our anniversary", that would've been even worse. OP doesn't need a guy like that.
How can you assume customers are unsympathetic? You should have crumpled into a ball of tears and sobs and begin to wail inconsolably. Maybe they'll come to your aid, or maybe they'll just point and laugh.
At least it would be entertaining...
FYL OP, you deserve someone so much better. He is obviously a coward who couldn't do that face to face.
Very nice man
What a jerk
this could have been written by me! OP he is definitely a jerk. (seriously, same date and everything-weird!)
Same guy?

What a nice considerate man he is. FYL
Wow what an ass, good riddance! Sorry OP, but at least now you know he's not worth your time and you can move on to someone better.
