Next time ask him if he'd like a photo of your bloody tampon. Or maybe just hypothetically ask him that question to show how you feel. Good luck. And tell him he needs to respect your feelings and ask him why he feels so hurt over such a small thing is there a bigger underlying issue?

Mine gets upset when i don't want to hear him talk about cars. Gives me the silent treatment, As a supportive partner we are supposed to be interested in the 'shit' they choose to share with us. Maybe you can use this experience against him later and insist he listen to you talk for 5 hours about how cool nail polish is.
