No where does it say she is a virgin. Just that it was their first time together. Regardless, if she is old enough to make a mistake such as not wearing a condom, then she is old enough to be educated on sex. Even if her parents never gave her permission to take sex ed, there are so many resources available to learn about it. I know I wouldn't try to fix my vehicle without having first learned about it. We also don't know if they used a condom or not, so this may not have been a mistake on OP's part.
