Weeeeeell if you KNEW it was gonna happen, you kinda deserved it ;).
That's not that big of a deaL....
It's out of habit, not that big of a deal.
My mom has been calling me by my sister's name and the other way around since she was born. 16 years and she has to correct herself every time she addresses one of us. Every. Single. Time. On the other hand, my boyfriend of (going on) 4 years has never once called me his ex's name. On the other other hand, whenever someone says an incredibly cheesy joke I immediately call them by his name in the exact same exasperated tone every time. The point i'm trying to make; people are weird about names and it's a natural (and very circumstantial) thing. So technically he's not wrong. Just know that you're not in the wrong for being bothered by it, but don't give him grief about something he can't control.
It's completely forgivable, especially if yall have only been together for a few weeks and he was with his wife for at least a year. Then name is common to his brain so its just an error its like when a mother calls her kid the wrong name, she doesnt love that child any less, she just had a brainfart. This happens with my gpa a lot, he'll call me his daughters name wven though i know he knows mine, hes just simply used to saying the other

It was bound to happen. It's only a couple of weeks. Unless he still has feelings for her I wouldn't worry about it.
Well of course it was going to happen - he was married to her. So he's used to saying that name when he's talking to his significant other - it's habit. And you've only been together a few weeks. If he's constantly saying it or still doing it a couple months down the road, or during sex, then you can worry about it a little. And even if it was during sex - once is a silly mistake - if it keeps happening, then give it a little thought.
