Today, my boyfriend of three years and I went to visit my 85 year-old grandmother at the hospital. While I went to the restroom, she apparently told him about a guy I was seeing on the side. I have no idea who she's talking about and my boyfriend refuses to talk to me. FML

Today, I was at my boyfriend's grandmother's house meeting her for the first time. I excused myself to the restroom and as I walked out of the room I heard her say, "You could do a lot better. She's fat." Then I heard my boyfriend reply, "I know." FML

Oh man that SUCKS!!! Everyone believes grandmas!!! Maybe say she's a little off on her thinking due to her age...? Good luck OP and I hope things turn around for the better and you guys can laugh about it at your wedding one day!! HANG IN THERE!!! : )

Sounds like your bf has trust issues if he's believing an 85yo hospitalized grandmother over you. He should be smart enough to realize she's confused. Why would you introduce two dif guys to your fam anyways? If he doesn't trust you when you are telling the truth, he is not someone you want to be with.
