Today, my boyfriend of two years, who is a fabulous guitarist and singer, told me he wrote me a song. I was so excited. Turns out it was a break up song. FML

Honestly, I don't think there's such a thing as a 'romantic' or 'cute' break-up. They suck. But at least he told you face to face and no through MySpace or a text. Those suck worse.

#22 haha that's awesome... an interpretive dance perhaps? but that kind of sucks to have him break up with you that way, he got you all excited for this cute song and then it's such a let down. Major bummer. I'd rather just get it over with than drag it out for a whole song.

Hmmm... it also depends on the song how big of an FML this is... like was it a sensitive sad song about how it's not going to work out, an angry one where he calls you a bitch, or an upbeat song where it almost seems like it's no big deal to him?
