Today, my boyfriend once again cancelled a date because he has too much homework. His professor is my dad, who's assigning astronomical amounts of homework to keep us from seeing each other. FML

Maybe you're being a bit paranoid? Thinking most college level profs aren't going to screw with am entire class just to screw with your bf. They do have a reputation to live to.

Agreed, I doubt the dad would risk his professional reputation just because of the boyfriend. Some assign more homework than others. Both things considered it doesn't seem likely.
