He seems addicted, but that does not mean that OP should just dump him and go find someone else right then and there. She probably loves him. They're on a trip to Niagara together. If they've had a long and loving relationship, they shouldn't just break up. Gambling addictions can be devastating, but it is something that people can work through. It all depends on the relationship of course, but if they really love each other, they should be able to attempt to help this. He may not even realize how bad off he is yet. It never says that OP sat him down and tried to have calm conversation with him about it, so he could still be firmly lodged in denial.

It's not an opinion its the truth. I live in a town five minutes from Niagara Falls. All you have to do is visit the waterfront and wonder why the hell Americans are letting one of the seven wonders of the world go to waste. Clearly Canada knows how to take advantage of it.

Look, I don't know about the US Side, but the Canadian side is lovely. I've gone many times, and enjoyed it every single time. The falls, the people, the other sites! It's a great spot to visit, and if you can stand the cold it's incredibly beautiful during the winter.
