The situation does sound bad and one day you will find that one person who is going to love you. I can't say anything because I'm that guy... I did that to a girl but I also felt horrible for doing it. But I had more in common with her friend and was just more like me I guess. But now I'm married to that girl and I have a baby on the way. Who knows maybe you will do the same. I probably wasn't trying to hurt you but maybe felt the same as I did. Once you find someone you can be your true self around and be a friend as much as a lover that's when you know you have found the right person. In my opinion that is...

You should talk with your friend. Tell her what happened, unless she already knows. Maybe talk to your ex boyfriend as to why. It might hurt, but since it's been going on thrice you need the information. It's always good to get each perspective of the situation. That way you can learn from it.
