Well, he's right. By tilting the lip oblique to the camera, it creates the visual effect of piling the hairs on top of each other to make the area appear darker.

I dont see why everyone thinks its so cool to have a duck face in their pictures. Its unattractive andd you just look stupid. Next time maybe you'll realize that before you upload photos of you resembling daffy duck.
