He was saying it in an extremely nice and polite way to NOT do that face. There is nothing redeeming about it. Nothing cute about it. Nothing even remotely good about it. Its embarrassing. Its one of the worst things to begin happening and it needs to be done away with. So yeah it was very appropriate than saying... "making the duck face is ugly don't do it." So you very much deserve it.

Have you guys spotted the spaghetti image on Reddit. One guy photoshopped a plate of spaghetti and the noodles were coming out the duck-faced girls' mouths. lss: they want spaghetti. Next time you spot these poor bastards, throw a plate of spaghetti towards them. Feed the starving ducks. :)
