Today, my car keys decided to play hide and seek. Good news: I found them under my bed. Bad news: it was after my job interview was scheduled to start. FML

Always keep your car keys in the same spot or else things like these happen!

I don't think telling the person interviewing you that you lost a game of hide and seek with your keys is a smart thing to do.

God is telling you that isn't the right job.

If "God" is telling you things you need to see a therapist. That's called Schizophrenia.

You do realize this country is based on a faith in god right?

91 - Absolutely off-topic, but it's called the Treaty of Tripoli. Look it up.

At least you eventually did find them. Although it sucks you were late for te interview. Better luck next time?

It appears as though the keys won this round. Better luck next time, OP

Sorry OP but YDI. There is never a good excuse to not be fully prepared for an interview. I have been searching for a job for a very long time and would have loved the opportunity.Better luck next time.

I don't really follow your logic. How is it the op's fault? You think he/she hid them on purpose? This has nothing to do with preparation. People sometimes lose things, it happens. Murphy's Law also demands it happens on the most inconvenient moment possible. Most likely because people tend to be nervous before job interviews.

Leave them in it. Or leave a spare set in a particular spot. As someone who hires I would have told you you were irresponsible and a waste of time and my paper.

If you always put stuff down in the same spot, you will always know where to find it...
