It's funny, reading so many of these comments, "OMG STALKER/RAPIST/SEX OFFENDER!". Because apparently people you meet through chance, on the internet etc are out to molest and/or kill you. One of my friend's mothers always used to say "He could be an ax murderer!" Guess what, so could that guy you met in a nightclub/bar/school lecture. Sad thing is, many here will be going "OMG, desperate!", and then promptly disappear to a nightclub, get absolutely paralytic, and go home with the first thing that has a pulse (or, as the movie says, "This guy would go home with a garden rake if it showed any interest").

If you two ended up going out that would be a cute story to tell when people ask how you met.

Don't listen to the people on here. You're more than twice as likely to be raped by your boyfriend, ex boyfriend, or casual acquaintance than a stranger (70-30 split). And you're only 3 times as likely to be raped by a stranger as you are by a family member. Grand scheme of things, it's actually not that dangerous.
