Today, my college class was talking about Felix Baumgartner, who jumped from the edge of space down to earth. A boy suddenly put his head up and said in a serious tone, "I thought he jumped from the moon?" Several girls concurred. This is my generation. FML

It seems they don't understand the gravity of the situation.

At least the curve is going to work in your favor.

He didn't jump from the edge of space. The internationally defined boundary for the edge of space is 100 km, while Felix only reached 40 km. The International Space Station orbits at 400 km, geosynchronous satellites at 40,000 km, and the Moon at 400,000 km. The jump is an impressive accomplishment, but remember that people walked on the Moon 43 years ago with far less technology.

After altering photos for Congressional hearings to pay for buildings that did not exsist... And they paid... The same technology is available today. So we are still far from smart. P.S. the alterations I worked on were done in 1967!!!

I think instead of FML it should be FOL: **** our Lives cause it's our generation sadly
