Today, my college class was talking about Felix Baumgartner, who jumped from the edge of space down to earth. A boy suddenly put his head up and said in a serious tone, "I thought he jumped from the moon?" Several girls concurred. This is my generation. FML

It seems they don't understand the gravity of the situation.

Yes, and your generation includes YOU who apparently is also as dumb as a box of hammers. He didn't jump anywhere near "space". He jumped from the stratosphere, 24 miles above the earth. Space begins at 62 miles above the earth. Why are you posting about what you don't understand?

Wrong. He messed up his lines and actually said. That's one small step for man. One giant leap for mankind. He left out the word "a". History folks.

Doesn't surprise me in the least the only thing people now about today are there shows and what time they come on.

He jumped from 23 miles in altitude. Space begins at 62 miles in altitude. There.

Bahahahahahahahahahahahhhaahhahahahahahah. Oh man too funny

he didn't jump from the "edge of space". because space is infinite. he jumped from the edge of earths atmosphere...

Hey wait a second... How the hell do you jump from the edge of space?

Meh don't worry about it much as we all like to pretend everyone we went to school with was brilliant we all had morons in our classes. I had a girl look at me frantic her cursor on file hovering over the print command one click away from actually printing and damn near having a panic attack asking me "Oh god how do I print?"
