Unlikely. The data is still on your drive, a crash is just a hardware or software failure causing an instability. Hard drives don't just die.
Oh that sucks!!! Had the same exact thing happen with my PS3. Lost little big planet 1 and 2... Had every collectible. Let's just say it took months to get, and most of you won't understand or care. Just being a little sympathetic here..
What you ought to do is get some software that does snapshot backups.
