Today, my crush was walking up to me and I put my earphones in, playing hard to get. When I heard him say something about a date I take an earphone out and say, "Oh, I didn't see you there!" His response, "They're not connected to anything," holds up the end of my earphones and walks away. FML

You are such an idiot. This is why girls need to stop playing hard to get, they just make themselves look stupid, or you will do it too much and the guy will give up. How about just saying "Hi" next time like a normal person? YDI

you're a douche twice over. 1-if they weren't plugged in, you wouldn't have heard "something" about a date, you would have heard all of it. 2--having earphones in have nothing to do with not seeing someone standing in front of or beside you. DOUCHE.

it's your fault for playing hard to get. that shit sucks.

That's stupid. Playing hard to get is so lame. You deserved it!

omg omg omg thats so embarrassing!!! and he probably thinks ur not interested and that ur trying to get rid of him

Ignoring the fact that pretending not to see or hear someone next to you isn't playing hard to get, but simply being a rude little ****, "hard to get" should be more aptly named "hard to want" (like 184 said) as that's what the vast majority of women accomplish when they think snubbing someone is alluring.

You are a ******* failure .

Wasn't that in a movie or commerical? Something about two kids.. the fathering bringing them to dinner at some candy store and the girl was all like "yeah i liked this place when i was 5" then started listening to her music and banging her head and the dad pulls up the earphones unplugged.
