Today, my crush was walking up to me and I put my earphones in, playing hard to get. When I heard him say something about a date I take an earphone out and say, "Oh, I didn't see you there!" His response, "They're not connected to anything," holds up the end of my earphones and walks away. FML

Today, I was walking to school with my earphones in, when someone tapped me on the shoulder. I was shocked, and whirled around to hit him in the crotch. I soon realized he was just trying to return the commuter pass I'd dropped at the station. FML

Today, I was alone with a work acquaintance at lunch. A noise came from his pocket; he whipped out his iPod Touch and said "Sorry, I have to take this," before walking away with the iPod to his ear. Not only did he not want to talk to me, he thought I was stupid enough to confuse an iPod with a phone. FML

#9 and #221- Couldn't have said them better myself. No, really, that was a dumbass move. First, why would you have earphones, but no outlet? It's like having a gun with no bullets. Second, if you could only hear 'something about a date', that's clue enough he noticed you listening to him, and yet, you didn't ask him to repeat it? If all else, you don't DESERVE that guy. I swear, some girls are really stupid to the point where they deserve anything bad that happens...
