To the people saying "Don't show up." At my job, (and many other's) it's never "word of mouth" that you are covering someone's shift. It needs to be approved by management. So "his" shift now becomes "your" shift. Not showing up will only hurt you. Now you know he's a POS and don't do him anymore favorites. Sorry OP, I guess you learned that some are just users.
