Yikes, that sucks, OP. Maybe you should make an agreement with your dad that if he earns back all that money, and makes a court date to regulate his own access to that money, you will set aside a small fund for him whenever he gambles. This isn't something you should be required to do, but it may keep his hands off your money, and it will also limit his spending at the casinos. Really sounds like a serious addiction. He may need counseling for addiction recovery.
