Today, my dad found a couple of coins on the floor next to my desk, and gave me a lecture about how money doesn't grow on trees and how irresponsible I am when it comes to money. They were Chuck E. Cheese tokens. FML

It is money -- at the Cheesiest Place on Earth! How else are you going to play the games to earn the tickets that give your family such a highbrow lifestyle?

My dad keeps a cup of Chuck E Cheese tokens in both the cars in case the brats want to go. He always winds up buying more tokens there and we always bring a crapload back.

How is this actually an FML? Seemed like an honest mistake to me...

If this had happened in the 90's, I'd understand. Those coins used to fit in the little toy/candy machines at the grocery store too. I miss those days.

Technically money DOES grow on trees. One word. Paper.

money actually isnt paper, if it was it would be destroyed everytime you leave money in your pockets and it goes through the wash.

Currency paper is composed of 25 percent linen and 75 percent cotton. Red and blue synthetic fibers of various lengths are distributed evenly throughout the paper. Therefore you are wrong, money does not grow on trees.

I wonder what your dad would do if he saw the money I accidentally leave around my room. I tend to be pretty forgetful, but I'm working on that. I once found a ten dollar bill just laying around.
