dont watch, i bet he is more disturbed by you watching him creeper!
I feel sorry for your dad, not you. Maybe you should do something useful for him instead of bitching that you have to watch him ... or go to a different room.
Ur an @ss! give the guy a break, he's in pain!!!
at least he's getting in some practice for your mom
How is this an FML? Your dad's the one whose injured, in pain, and having to do the exercises (which he probably thinks are just as embarrassing as you do). Did it ever occur to you that the reason you need to be in the room with him is in case something goes wrong and he hurts himself worse? Back injuries, even minor ones, are not to be taken lightly. You don't have to literally watch his every move - read a friggin' book or something. "Oh my god! I have to watch my hurt father 'hump' the air for a few minutes every hour so he can regain his full mobility! My life SUUUUCKS." Grow up.
If this were facebook, I'd have "liked" this.
21 is exactly right. How your dad's exercises look should be the least of your worries. That particular stretch feels awkward for awhile, and you're likely making it worse. I say F your dad's life for having a child that's so caught up on how awkward the physical therapy looks and complaining about it on FML.
While I agree with what #21 said overall, OP wasn't saying, "**** my life more than his, that selfish asshole making me watch him." I'd say this is still an FML, even though I assume the OP is quite aware how hard their dad has it. It's just like I'd say "FML" if a friend died. They have it worse, but it's still bad for me.
good point number 61
you could always jump on top of him... then they'd have a nurse watch him.... in the hospital. Problem solved!!!!
So your dad sustained an injury and all you care about is the fact that he has to engage in therapy to get well? No, not FYL.....FYDL for having a brat like you.
Leave the room!! problem solved!!
