Today, my dad learned that it's possible to power a lightbulb with a potato. Since then, he's been going around the house removing all the plugs from the wall and plugging them into potatoes instead. He's absolutely baffled as to why it won't work. FML

Potatoes might be able to conduct electricity, but flaming tacos can do so much more.

All I can imagine is some guy with a Cornish accent going "Ere, now oi just can't get why this won't work". It's too early for this shit.

Yes because people from Devon speak with Cornish accents. Makes sense.

this made my day it's simply just awesome whenn a dad plugs potatoes around the house

Well, Thomas Edison started this way. Not actually, but hey.

Reminds me of the time my dad built a nucleair powerplant to make the patatoes in our back yard grow..

Was he really a big fan of portal 2 enough to make a potato battery?

He must have forgotten to ask google how to do it right.

Sounds like a Latvian potato experiment. Two Latvian look at clouds. One see potato. Other see impossible dream.

The potato only acts as an insulator, it has no conducting ability.
