A drunk man's words are a sober man's thoughts.
I'm proud of you, OP. It takes alot of balls to read a message from a drunk guy
he is proud of you..he probably meant some other sick shit he posted!!!
we all post some when drunk op, I can't count how much sick shit I said when drunk and being proud of his son does not belong in that category..I'm positive he didn't mean what he posted you when he apologised! every parent is proud of their offspring..no matter what he may say to you, you are his reason for existing!
A drunk man's words are a sober man's thoughts :)
My dad only said he was proud of me once. Took being the first in my family to finish uni and spending the final semester studying abroad on a scholarship. I never expect to hear it again as the job market sucks globally.

It's likely he thinks it, but never says it. Also, don't forget that no matter what he says now, people tend to be honest while drunk
They say the truth comes out when you are drunk. I'm sure your dad meant it even if he doesn't express it while sober.
