Well.... they are a large group of people with a similar belief originating from a similar area of the world. I know that doesn't qualify as a "race" but it could be close enough for your dad.

um being Jewish is both a religious designation and an ethnicity. it depends on how people identify themselves, and historically how they have been identified by their home countries' governments. also the existence of Israel makes things more complex.

wrong Its both you don't have to be a practicing Jew but you can still be of Jewish decent. if you trace it back Judaism was the belief of the Jewish people Jewish being the people and Judaism the religion kthnxbai

Out of any bad FML ever on this site, I hope this one gets deleted. This will start a huge, misinformed, infuriating argument. Not to mention it's very existence shows how misinformed the moderators are all well. Oh, and google it for gods sake. Judaism is a religion, BUT Jews are a race as well. I am not of any religion, but because I have Jewish blood, am part Ashkenazi Jew as well as part Celtic. Those are my ETHNICITIES and one can be separate from another.
