Idk about you guys but I don't have $200 to spend on a new camera every-time one breaks. So $200 is a lot of change out my pocket that could be used to something else.

I think they just mean that a camera they would buy would be over $200 and the loss of any camera in that price-range isn't exactly as tragic as it could have been if it was a DSLR or something. Pretty much exactly what I was going to say.
