To me it seems disrespectful for her to ambush you like that. I mean either she wanted her parents to come which doesn't say much for her interest or trust in you, or she didn't want them to come but wasn't strong enough to say no. I mean obviously we don't know everything here, but that sounds like a nightmare later on if she does everything they say.
Tell her to grow up! Haha, jk... "When I was a kid, when I was a little boy, I always wanted to be a dinosaur, I wanted to be a Tyrannosaurus Rex more than anything in the world, I made my arms short and I roamed the back yard, I chased the neighborhood cats, I growled and I roared, everybody knew me and was afraid of me, and one day my dad said 'Bobby you are 17, it’s time to throw childish things aside' and I said 'OK Pop', but he didn't really say that he said that 'Stop being a ******* dinosaur and get a job'."
More like tell the parents to let their daughter grow up.
Stepbrothers! hahahaha and yeah, A) those parents are constantly going to be judging you on everything you do and everything you say B) dating a girl who has overprotective parents is never going to work because of reason A. you'll never be good enough by THEIR standards, and maybe that mindset will even rub off on the girl as well conclusion: ditch the bitch. you'll be better off without her when your relationship is already doomed to fail
OP, I hope you didn't actually go out on the date after that.
she's a keeper!
It may not be her fault. In some cultures they're a very firm believer in no sex before marriage, and will go to any extend to protect that. That being said, they should also be able to trust their daughter. ... and she should have informed the OP that this is how her family rolls so its not a shock at the last minute. My dad is very no sex before marriage, when I was younger, like 16 and 17, we would force me to take my little sister along with me everywhere I went in the form of a chaperon lol. I was so annoyed that he didn't trust me. But I guess, it is a step better than having to have dad come along. I'm 22 now, and I guess he thinks I'm mature enough to be trusted 'cause I haven't needed a chaperon in a while lol.
chaperone*
that's okay, i've chaperoned my mom's dates before. not you know, eating with them, but i was in the restaurant.

That's awful. lol parents like that are gonna be there on your wedding night, making sure you don't do anything "naughty" with their daughter
I'd be like, are they going to watch you give me head, too?
