Today, my daughter proudly showed me her new tattoo sleeve, which is made up of an angry cupcake, hemp leaves, and a My Little Pony character. She's almost 30, still unemployed, and still lives in my home. I now have no hope of her ever becoming a productive member of society. FML

I would kick her out of she's spending her money on tattoos and not saving for a place of her own.

I understand she is your daughter but you really need to do something about this situation. Do you really want her to be in your house forever? She needs to learn how to live independently.

you REALLY screwed up on that kid. time to have another one

Solution steps: 1. Give her some money. 2. Give her 3 months. If she does not find a job and move in the next three months, kick her out.

That has nothing to do with "her being a productive part of society" now laziness on the other hand does.

Kick her out, you let her live there for far too long.

At least she still loves and looks up to you

Maybe she is a better human being than you, even if not a "productive member of society" as (I guess) you are. I wish good luck to your sister.

wow, I've read sister instead of daughter... In this case, I say be patient and love her for what shes is, wtf you are her mother, she should be the biggest love in your life! She may be lazy but with your kind of attitude, she probably doesn't feel loved either nor encouraged to anything! Mothers loves their sons/daughters more than anything even if they have been in prison, did drugs and all! Wtf it seems you devastate her just because she didn't get a job yet! Try to work a bit on yourself and maybe your daughter will do that too!
