Aww well at least she liked them. Poor baby.
It's alright, OP. It doesn't mean that your cookies were shit or anything. If there is chocolate found in your cookies, this may explain why your dog's reaction to it. There are cases wherein if a dog ingests too much of these foods, it will result to certain levels of exposure leading up to vomiting, irregular heart rate, etc. Note that milk-based products can cause diarrhea to dogs. Your lucky that your dog didn't have seizures or any of that sorts after consumption. Anyway, hope your dog's alright. And good luck with your bake sale!
The mis-information spewing from this comment is toxic.
if dogs aren't used to rich foods it will give them dihearea whether its milk based or not. and I believe a dogs body can't process caffeine correctly so it all sits in there veins causing them to basically overdose on it. though my dog ate a whole 4 pound chocolate bar and was fine so this may be a wives tale. don't quote me on any of this :p
Dogs shouldn't eat chocolate and it's not just an old wives tale. 42, you got lucky. It's not to do with milk or caffiene though - they can get theobromine poisoning. It's similar to caffiene but not the same.
You should not blame her, they tasted like dog cookies.
While it sucks, you shouldn't have left the cookies within the dogs reach. My grandmas dog has stolen a whole chocolate cake and a Thanksgiving Turkey.
Your dog is huge then
Next time, get a turkey baster and peroxide, squirt it down the dog throat. Stand back... Oh ya do this outside. It is what the vet does but it will save you a ton.
did 22 steal his picture form grachi or is this a common picture?
A whole turkey baster? You shouldn't give more than a couple tablespoons to induce vomitting in a large dog and only a teaspoon or two in a very small dog.
On the bright side your cookies must have tasted delicious since your dog finished them all :)
Did u feed your dog on time? Maybe that's why it had such an appetite.
The poor dog though... I think it's more of an FML for your dog than for you, OP. At least until the vet bill comes.

I hope she's okay
