Today, my dog nearly died when my mom fed him chocolate. After finding out dogs are not supposed to eat chocolate, she promptly grounded me for not telling her. FML

I'm sorry your mom is an idiot and a bitch. I thought this was common knowledge that chocolate (among other foods) is toxic to dogs and cats. I hope your dog is okay.

Only dark chocolate is toxic for dogs. YDI for having no taste in chocolate.

That actually doesn't kill dogs it's just not good for them to have a lot. I've fed chocolate to my dog a lot of times but in little amounts and nothing happened

that's because it was in small amounts and their wasn't enough Theobromine in it for it to be poisonous. google Theobromine poisoning
