dogs can get depression?
Your so depressing you depressed your dog who is supposed to help with depression
you shouldn't have got a dog if your just gonna be depressed with it they have the same emotions as there owners get him to the vet or sell him to a REAL home
Awe, I'm sorry you two are dealing with depression but instead of being miserable together, you two can be depression battle buddies and help each other get through this like maybe you can take the dog out for more walks, go out on adventures together, have some fun times together to create happy times so you two can defeat depression!
This is so sad. Get your shit together. Walks. Parks. Toys. Adventures. Don’t be a shorty pet parent
The good news is, petting and playing with your pupper will not only cheer the pupper up, it's scientifically shown to make you feel better. If nothing else, giving your doggo some cuddles will help both of you, and I've yet to meet a pet who can't have their mind taken off something bad by a treat or two.

Or you can cure each other. Make each other happy. Dogs feed off of your emotions.
Maybe you can help each other fight your depression.. Good luck, OP! I love dogs too and I find it sad that it was diagnosed with depression.
