All u people saying it was a little rat dog, or use a leash u are all ignorant. Maybe it was a puppy. U obviously don't know how big and how much an owl can carry. Could have been a Rotweiler puppy. u don't know. Also maybe it was in their own fenced in yard. Who puts dogs on a leash in their own yard?

I agree. . . I live in the country where a hawk tried to grab one of our cats. . . we found the hawk in our garage being nom'd on by our cats
