eh, at least it was outside the house. I had a cat flood the kitchen by turning on the sink after knocking stuff in it just right to stop up the drain, which in turn gave ALL of the cats a cold that i had to also shell out for to treat them for. The only thing worse about your situation is the water bill.

Had that happen to me when I first moved into my house. Took me 10 min to find the water shut off valve for the property. I didn't end up with a lake but I was without water fir almost a week until I found someone I could afford to repair it.
